Your place or mine?

You’ve started to think about a branding or business photoshoot, but what’s the best location?

Firstly think about the purpose of the shoot, the style you’re going for, and your personal preferences.

Here are some ideas of locations:

  • Workspace: Your office, a shared workspace or your place of work is great if you
would like to add an insight into your working day and show your clients a bit more about your work.
  • Studio: My studio space allows us to use a variety of plain backdrops, different
lighting techniques and the ability to bring in props to create images to tell
your story.  Also, if you’d like cut-out images to use on canva, this would be the best option.
  • Indoor Spaces: Cafes, galleries, hotels can provide a stylish interior unique
textures and lighting options to get some beautiful shots.
  • Personal Spaces: Your home, an AirBnB or a meaningful location can add a
personal touch and authenticity to your images.
  • Outdoor Spaces: City streets, modern architecture, vibrant graffiti walls, parks,
beaches, forests, and gardens can add a natural and relatable feel to your
    photos.

  • Ultimately, the best location is one that aligns with your vibe, your vision, enhances your brand or message, and allows you to feel comfortable and confident during the shoot.  Whether you’re corporate, edgy, homely, arty, professional the location will help you to tell your story.  Which of these locations helps to tell your story?
